This two year old mare won the Filly Halter/Model Hi Point
Championship for Colorado. She is a future broodmare prospect.
I bought Timeless Champagne, aka Grace, from Mary Bittner of
Deer Creek Walkers.
I really liked her conformation and her temperament. She is long
striding, a people lover, willing and learns quickly. She is by
Pushin' Gold, a talented natural walking horse. My three year old
granddaughter saw her and proclaimed her to be "MY Grace". Grace is so
careful with her and very
aware she needs to take care of Isabelle. |

Currently, Grace is two and a half years old, and just
growing up. I expect her to top out around 15.3 hands. She won top points in
Colorado halter/model yearling fillies. I may not start her under saddle
until she is three and a half years old, as she is going to be big
and I want her to be sound for life. |

I started Grace under saddle
in May, and took her on her second camping trip this August. We were 10
miles from camp; our trail became impassable, so at 1930 we had to turn
around and head back the way we came. By 2045 it was full dark: I
couldn't even see Grace's ears. We crossed creeks, wound up and down,
around and through, over rocks and logs, she led my friend and I back to
camp. It was like riding blindfolded, simply balancing and moving with
the horse. I was astounded that a green broke horse could so sure
footedly and calmly led us through the dark over such challenging
terrain with the talent of an experienced trail horse. We made camp by
2230...10 miles in 3 hours...WOW, WHAT A HORSE! Thank
you Grace! |
