This colt, as you can see, hit the ground walkin' ..WOW! He
is full of intelligence and mischief. He is the clown of the ranch,
endlessly entertaining and annoying....paws the water out of the
trough,.."oh, you are ignoring me, now I will drag the trough to the
middle of the corral and look at you to make sure you are watching, and
dump it over." Then he looks Oh-so- Innocent, "HOW DID this
happen? Hmmm, she thinks I can't reach that rag where she left it,
..that would make a nice play toy."....he runs around flapping the rag
and laughing...."Bet you can't catch me! Aren't I cute and don't I need
scratches and massages?" |

At 3 days, he puffed up and pranced for another of my
mares. He was gelded at 6 mos. He is big and gangly, not a mean
bone in his body and takes most stuff with interest....1st saddling, ho
hum.
1st bridling, ho hum. However, with his size and short attention span,
WHAT are these legs supposed to do????? He may not be ready for a
rider until he is 4yo. Time will tell. |

He is the college graduation gift to Adrienne, a friend of
mine who has ridden with me since she was 16. While we are waiting for
him to grow up, she has my mare,
Grace Dancer, in New Jersey. I would love to breed that mare
to
Champagne Watchout. |
