Lady is from
The Colors of the Wind farm, south of New Orleans. Both sire
and dam died in Hurricane Katrina. I was just starting to focus
on breeding for the champagne color and was looking for
sound-minded, people-oriented, well-gaited Tennessee Walking
Horses and I purchased her from Lois Daverede. |

Lady was
everything she was billed to be. She loved people, was
smart, learned quickly, and was beautifully 3 gaited. She
has produced 2 foals out of
Champagne Showcase for me. Both, I believe,
exceed both of their parents for gait, trainability and
sensibility, which is saying a lot. This mare, with Casey, has
given me this in spades.
Lady has delivered
a gorgeous classic cream champagne stud colt by
Champagne Showcase on 1/16/08. It was -10° outside, so
we are calling him
Showcase's Jack Frost.

Lady is calm and sensible on the trail and
handles obstacles in a thinking way. I haven't shown her much,
but she took 1st at the Fosh Nationals AOTR English Pleasure,
her first "real" show. She was 9-10 months pregnant, then.
Again, this horse does it in spades. I pony my 5 year old
granddaughter on her. Lady is very careful and thoughtful with
her on her back. |
